Married to Jimmy Monroe August 25, 1941 and tried to divorce him to marry Joe Guy. After a long awaited divorce she then married Louis McKay.
Death
Billie Holiday died July 17, 1959 after being admitted to the hospital for liver and heart problems. She was arrested while in the hospital for narcotics possession and upon her death had $750 taped to her leg and only 77 cents in her bank accounts.
Children
Billie Holiday was pregnant once but decided to end her pregnancy through unconventional methods involving a hot tub and mustard seed to have an abortion. She was no longer able to have children but had one god son Bevan Dufty.
